On Filipino Spaghetti and Fried Chicken

March 30 , 2014 by: Paolo Papa Food For Thought

You can never go wrong with Filipino style spaghetti. Something about it evokes childhood memories and endorphins. Partner it with Fried chicken and voila! Instant happiness!

Noodles are served on birthdays because supposedly it imbues long life to the celebrant. Interesting how the life of this blog started with the premise of long life as well as childhood comfort all rolled into one.

I can’t believe I’m uploading this photo. No touch of food photography or food styling in it. But it’s an honest to goodness reflection of this blog’s start: Raw, unedited and from the heart.

As I start the last days of my twenties. Let this small corner in cyberspace be my path to of learning not only Filipino food but all the emotions that it invoke. In this case, a touch of lethargy due to carbo loading. But at the same time, a sense of excitement of things to come.  This birthday celebration was of quiet sorts. A remembrance of the most important things in life. Family, being alive and a future

Let’s spread the wonders of Filipino food, one dish at a time.
